" When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." -Isaiah 43:2
I saw a vision in the stillness of the night,
As sky began fading into gray where once was bright.
The clouds grew heavy, darker than the night,
And silence fell as hearts racing and afright.
I saw people looking up with eyes unsure,
As the air grew thick, the signs I knew for sure.
The heavens moved like oceans, the sky became a blur,
A giant wave rising no human lungs could endure!
It towered high, a wall of devouring sea,
Rolling with power towards all humanity.
Then suddenly it hit like a megatsunami,
No soul strong enough could stand its fury.
The waters enclosed us as in cold icy room,
But alas! The water was clear I saw our doom.
I held my breath while searching through the gloom,
To guard my daughter within the watery tomb.
My lungs cried out; as in my mind was total death toll,
The weight of saving souls was my only goal.
Yet in that moment a sweet whisper filled my soul:
“Be still and know I'm still in control.”
Then an amazing miracle happened as I understood the clue,
For I could breathe beneath the waters and communicate too.
Through the waves I taught others everything I knew,
And the breath of life was moving smoothly through.
Then, the Lord began to say as I meditated through,
“A wave of adversity soon will test you so.
But do not fear the depths, but forward you must go,
For I, your God, will breathe My life in you.
You'll never drown but in the sea of adversity,
My breath of life in you will make you know me.
And in the depths where mortal strength loses its identity,
My hidden path will carry you through triumphantly.”
So when the waves arise both fierce and wild,
Remember still My promise for you, My child.
The water may cover land and sky in the whole worldwide,
I am the source of life, My Spirit sweetly glides.
And in the deep where hope seems far above,
You’ll find the living breath of Heaven’s unfailing love.
For in the darkest waters you'll see me as a dove—
Waves of adversity comes but to set you up, My Beloved."
This poem was penned by the inspiration of a prophetic dream I received just a week ago. After two or three days the fuel and transportation almost doubled its price. I know that God has given me foresight of what was soon to come. Here's the dream...
I saw in a vision a wide sky where the clouds began to get darker and darker and the people below all saw it and it became a giant dark wave. And we were suddenly hit by it but instead of being carried away we were engulfed in the water. I tried to hold my breath trying to help my daughter and others near me but when I was about to come to a point when I couldn't hold anymore something in me told me to keep calm. Then I suddenly realized I could actually breathe even under the water. I don't know why it was all young people who were there, but of late God has put a burden in my heart for the young people. I was meditating on this, and in my spirit God spoke to me, " A wave of adversity is going to hit you soon,,, but don't be troubled but be still and calm and know I am still in control. For I will be your breath of life and you will never drown. For in the depth of adversity I will make a way for you so that you will survive..."
May this guide us through this global crisis we're in. Fears and panic will make us miss God's instructions but prayer, stillness, and confidence in God will see us through.
